Proximity Conference 2025

The conference is two days where those working, living, serving and worshipping in urban areas can come and have their thinking stretched, skill set widened and get practical insight into loving as God loves, helping as God helps, and serving as God serves.

Friday 16 and Saturday 16 May 2025 from 10am to 5pm.

The Proximity Conference is taking place at Message Trust HQ. The address for the venue is Lancaster House, Harper Road,

There are lots of places within easy reach of The Message Trust but below are some of the closest options:

Nearest train station – Gatley (25 minute walk)
Nearest bus stop – Harper road (3 minute walk). The 103, 11A and 43 all stop here.

The tram is not easily accessible from The Message.

Sadly, we aren’t able to provide childcare for Proximity. If you have pre-school aged children, there is an unmanned creche where you can go with your child. There will be a live feed set up so you can still engage with the main session.

When you book your ticket, you have the option to buy a lunch pack from us for £5. These will be available during the lunchbreak from the Message Community Hub. The Mess Café on site will be open on the Friday but may get very busy. It will be closed on the Saturday. There are other options nearby, the closest being a Greggs and Subway in the petrol station on Longley Lane. There are various eateries or supermarkets on Palatine Road in Northenden and an Aldi a 10-minute walk away on the A560.

We will not be live streaming the event, but we hope you will enjoy being in a room with other like-minded people.

Yes, you can. There is parking on site and around the site, and there will be stewards to help you. The parking is limited, particularly on the Friday so we would recommend trying to car share if you can.
